David_CP#2 Yousef

So seeing as there was nothing really going on that Yousef was interested it, we just met up to chat and plan on doing something. I told him that he was more than welcome to come disk golfing with Hamad and I later in the day, and he liked that idea. Until then, we just talked a little about American customs and the way things are done. He was curious about how you get a drivers licence, and was not understanding what people were telling him about two tests. I explained that there is something called a driving permit, and that allows you to drive in a car with a real driver and so on and then the real licence. We also talked about different sports that were about to start, and I told him that the week FSU basketball was starting, and that we should go to a game. He liked that idea, though he asked me to explain the rules of the game... something that I dont know. Its FSU is not playing, I don't watch. So we looked up the rules, and we both learned something! I had to help him a few times with the vocab, but for the most part, he was pretty well versed. We talked about soccer a little, and there he mastered the subject for sure. We talked about his teams, and the popularity of it in the states for the rest of the time we had. We plan to go get some good southern food sometime soon. I talked a little about grits (I don't remember why) but he got interested, so we are going to get some soon!
