Today Isa and I met for lunch in the Union at noon during her break. We checked out some of the vendores and decidedwe liked these hats best. We talked about or favorite colors, flowers, and where we would wear these hats. Isa loves the Coliseum and said shed wear one to a concert there, I told her after her TOEFL is over tahts how we can celebrate.
We decided to go to Chili's to grab a quick bite to eat before her next class. We ordered and got to chatting about our week, Isa is so anxious about her upcoming TOEFL exam next week. She has been studying a lot lately and wants to attend Florida State as a college student so badly. I know she will do great, she is extremely conversationally profficient and the writing samples she showed me look good too. We are both our missing our families today, especially our moms. With so much going on with school we talked about how it makes us miss teh support of our family. It was good to talk to her about being away from her family, I think it made her feel better to talk about it, and for me provided insight into what my life will be like when I go abroad to teach. I showed her some of my pictures from the wedding I attended this weekend. We chatted a bit about photography, and the difference between cultural aspects of weddings in Brazil and in America. We had to part ways at this point but Isa will be joining me for the FSU homecoming parade this weekend!! I can't wait include her in this cultural experiance.
You've got this CP thing down to a fine art. Both of you ought to take a picture together and send it to both of your moms to let them know they were on your minds.
