When I showed
up, the CP was talking with his father in Kuwait. He asked what is there to do in
Tallahassee. Since he seemed
uninterested in everything I suggested, I asked what he would be doing if he
were home in Kuwait. He showed me
pictures of his uncles and cousins lounging around a campfire talking. We then talked to his cousin via Skype. His cousin speaks only two words in English
which are "Americans" and "good". His cousin showed us his many cars and one
boat.
My CP asked
which city he should visit over the holidays.
He has been to Orlando, and seems interested in going back. I haven't been to Orlando, so I suggested
cities I have lived in such as Tampa and Fort Lauderdale. I'm sure he would find a lot in both cities,
but one needs a car to get around.
Having visited many foreign cities while in the Navy, I explained the
value of taking a tour (القيام بجولة)
on day one. This is the best was to get an overview of a city, find places of
interest and how to get to them. So
after our session, I emailed him these websites for tours of Orlando, St.
Petersburg, and Fort Lauderdale.

Those were some good and helpful suggestions. You went the extra mile sending the links. Great job.
